National Senior Certificate (NSC) and Matriculation Exemption

For Bachelor’s Degree programmes, applicants must have an NSC indicating a Bachelors’ endorsement. Matriculation Exemption endorsement is required for applicants with an old Senior Certificate.

Admission Point System (APS)

The Faculty of Education uses a point system for admissions, where achievement levels are translated into points for each NSC subject. The total Admission Point Score (APS) should meet a minimum of 26 points for a Bachelor’s degree.
